I am a photographer, educator, lecturer, and workshop leader located in Southwest Florida. After relocating here in 2006, my desire to share my lifetime of photographic knowledge and experience led me to join Understand Photography. "We simplify the technical" is not just our motto at Understand Photography, but our commitment.
Photography first became my passion in high school and has remained so. My past experience includes working as a photojournalist, as a wedding photographer, producing training videos for a Fortune 500 corporation, and freelancing. In addition to having been lead instructor at Understand Photography and Technical Director of the Understand Photography Show, I am a past president of the Florida Camera Club Council, a Photographic Society of America Judge, and member of the Professional Photographers of America as well as several local photographic groups.
